Adele has revealed that she has no intention of making new material anytime soon, planning to take a break after her upcoming shows. In an interview with German outlet ZDF, the pop star confirmed she has no plans for new music and wants to explore other creative pursuits. This hiatus will follow her residency shows in Germany this summer, her first mainland gigs since 2016, including performances at the Munich Messe arena from August 2-24. Adele expressed her struggle with fame and desire to reclaim anonymity as reasons for the break. She shared that she misses life before fame, despite her gratitude for the success and reception of her music.

I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.
