Linda McCartney was Paul’s longest-standing musical collaborator, beginning with Ram (1971), credited to Paul and Linda McCartney, and continuing through Wings. Known for her harmonies, keyboards, and backing vocals, she occasionally stepped into the spotlight, most notably with the 1977 single “Seaside Woman” (released under the pseudonym Suzy and the Red Stripes), which charted at No. 59 in the US and No. 90 in the UK in 1986.
