Keep the Faith is a significant album in Bon Jovi’s discography, marking the last studio effort to feature all five original members before the departure of bassist Alec John Such in 1994. It also represented a shift in the band’s sound, offering a more serious take on their signature pop-metal style. Produced by Bob Rock and recorded at Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, the album was the first not produced by Lance Quinn or Bruce Fairbairn. At 66 minutes, it is Bon Jovi’s longest album and peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200, earning double-platinum certification. The album spawned several hits, including “Keep the Faith,” “Bed of Roses,” and “In These Arms.”

New Jersey, produced by Bruce Fairbairn and recorded at Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, is one of Bon Jovi’s most successful albums. Released as the follow-up to their breakthrough album Slippery When Wet, New Jersey quickly climbed the charts, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 in its second week and holding the top spot for four consecutive weeks. The album, named after Jon Bon Jovi’s birth state, produced five Billboard Hot 100 top ten hits, including the chart-toppers “Bad Medicine” and “I’ll Be There for You.”
Certified 7× platinum by the RIAA, it was also the first American album officially released in the USSR. To commemorate the band’s 30th anniversary in 2014, New Jersey was repackaged with bonus tracks, further cementing its legacy in rock history.

These Days was Bon Jovi’s first album after the departure of bassist Alec John Such and their first recorded as a four-piece, with Hugh McDonald as a session bassist. Produced by Peter Collins, Jon Bon Jovi, and Richie Sambora, the album is praised for its darker, more serious tone compared to their usual upbeat rock. It was a major success, topping the charts in Australia and the UK, where it replaced Michael Jackson’s HIStory and spent four weeks at number one. The album also produced four Top 10 singles in the UK and was reissued as These Days Special Edition. Despite selling a million copies and being certified platinum in the U.S., it peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200 and didn’t achieve the same success as abroad.
