Artist Bio
Edward Christopher Sheeran, better known as Ed Sheeran to his fans, rose to fame with his song ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’ which was released on the late Jamal Edwards’ SBTV platform in 2010. Then went on to release his self released album ‘EP No.5 Collaborations Project’ the year after which reached number 2 on the UK ITunes Chart, that soon lead to a recording contract with Asylum Records.
The same year, he released his debut studio album ‘+ (Plus)’, which went on to become fifth in the Billboard 200 Chart in the United States and even had one of the tracks from the album ‘The A Team’ to receive a Grammy nomination. In 2014, he released ‘X’ which had the smash hit ‘Thinking Out Loud’ which became the first song to spend a whole year on the UK top 40 and achieved Grammy awards for Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Ed Sheeran recently released a new album entitled ‘Autumn Variations’ in September 2023, which has his fans all over the UK hoping for an announcement of a tour at some renowned major music venues and arenas to hear not only his classics but new gems from the latest album too.
