Artist Bio

Established in Glenview, Illinois in 2001, the band’s founding members and good friends, Pete Wentz and Joe Trohman, met lead singer Patrick Stump at high school. Stump, who initially auditioned as a drummer, eventually joined the band. They later found their drummer, Andrew Hurley, with whom they recorded their debut album ‘Take This To Your Grave’ in 2003, eventually achieving gold status.

Two years later, they released their album ‘From Under The Cork Tree,’ which sold over 68,000 copies in the first week, achieved double platinum status, and sold over 2.5 million albums in the United States.

In 2007, Fall Out Boy released their third album, ‘Infinity On High,’ which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart and, in its opening week, sold 260,000 copies. Later in their career, the band saw their 2014 album, ‘American Beauty/American Psycho,’ achieve platinum status and debut at number one on the charts, as did their album ‘Mania’ three years later.
