Artist Bio

Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, otherwise known by his stage name Hozier, was born in Bray, Ireland in 1990. He began studying music at Trinty College in Dublin and was even part of the Orchestra but dropped out just after a year to record demos for Universal Music.

From 2009 to 2012, he toured with an Irish choral group called Anuna and the year after he released his smash hit single ‘Take Me To Church’ which reached made it to the top 10 in the charts in no fewer than 11 countries, as well as achieve gold status in Canada and the UK.

Later on in his career, he released his second album ‘Wasteland, Baby!’ in 2019 topped the Irish charts and debuted at number six in the UK. With his latest album release ‘Unreal Unearth’ Hozier is set to headline major music venues including Resorts World Arena in Birmingham in December 2023.
