Artist Bio
Tom Chaplin, Richard Hughes, Jesse Quin and Tim Rice Oxley, collectively known as Keane, were childhood friends from Battle in East Sussex. They started out as a cover band in 1995 but didn’t find their big break until 2002 when a record representative saw one of their shows and agreed to produce their next single, ‘Everybody’s Changing,’ which became a smash hit in the UK and garnered attention from major record labels.
In 2004, they released their debut album ‘Hopes and Fears,’ which reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom during its first week of release. The extremely popular track ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ from this album contributed to their winning two Brit Awards, and the album was classified as the second-highest selling record of the year in the UK.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Keane is heading out on tour in 2024, headlining major music venues in London, Manchester, and Birmingham for a series of highly anticipated shows that should not be missed.
