Artist Bio

Saul Hudson, better known by his stage name ‘Slash,’ was born in 1965 in Stoke-on-Trent, but later moved to Hollywood, where he would meet Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler. Together, they formed a band at the time called ‘The Road Crew.’

They eventually met Izzy Stradlin, who played in a band with Axl Rose. Slash wanted Axl Rose to join the band, and they found a bass player who responded to their ads in the newspapers, eventually forming Guns N’ Roses in 1986. The following year, they released their debut album, ‘Appetite for Destruction,’ which sold over 28 million copies worldwide, with 18 million sold in the United States alone, making it the bestselling debut album of all time there.

Later in his career, Slash collaborated with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators for an album entitled ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ which reached the number two spot on the Canadian charts in 2012. Slash received an award for Best Guitarist of the Year from Loudwire.

In more recent years, his 2022 release with Myles and The Conspirators, ‘4,’ debuted as the number one bestselling hard rock album. Fans can expect to hear all the gems from the album when Slash and the band take center stage in Manchester and Birmingham with official Slash VIP tickets.
