Early Years
Originally starting out as The Cutest Rush, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Robbie Williams met in their teens. They were later joined by Jason Orange and Howard Donald, officially forming Take That in 1990.
Rise To Stardom
Take That first tasted success in the summer of 1992 with their cover of Tavares’ It Only Takes A Minute, which climbed to number seven on the charts. Soon after, they released their debut album Take That and Party, which reached number five and earned them multiple Smash Hits Awards.
Global Success
In 2006, Take That released Beautiful World, their fourth studio album, which became a massive hit—selling over three million copies worldwide and going eight times platinum in the UK. Their next album, The Circus, included the celebrated single Greatest Day and sold over 133,000 copies in Britain on its first day of release.
