Artist Bio
Early Years
Born in Houston, Texas, Jacques Bermon Webster II — known as Travis Scott — developed his love for music at a young age, forming early groups The Graduates and The Classmates. After deciding college wasn’t the right path, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time, where his talent caught the attention of major industry figures.
Rise To Stardom
Scott’s career accelerated after connecting with T.I. and Kanye West, leading to a role as an in-house producer for GOOD Music in 2012. His breakthrough came with Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight in 2016, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and cemented his place in the mainstream.
Global Success
Building on this momentum, Travis Scott made chart history in 2020 by becoming the first artist to debut three number-one songs on the Billboard Hot 100 within a year. Backed by major awards, Grammy nominations and a massive global fanbase, he has grown into one of the most influential and commercially successful artists of his generation.
