“Future Nostalgia,” the second studio album by English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa, was released on March 27, 2020, by Warner Records. Enlisting talents like Jeff Bhasker, Ian Kirkpatrick, Stuart Price, the Monsters & Strangerz, and Koz, Lipa crafted a nostalgic pop and disco record infused with dance-pop and electronic elements, inspired by her childhood favorites.

The album produced six singles, including the critically acclaimed “Don’t Start Now,” which peaked at number two on both the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100. Other notable singles include “Physical,” “Break My Heart,” and a remix of “Levitating” featuring DaBaby, which dominated the charts. Despite an early leak, “Future Nostalgia” garnered universal acclaim for its cohesive production and Lipa’s stylistic evolution, topping charts in fifteen countries and reaching the top ten in thirty-one.

The album won the Brit Award for British Album of the Year and earned Dua Lipa her first Mercury Prize nomination. It also received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and was nominated for Album of the Year. “Future Nostalgia” was followed by the well-received remix album “Club Future Nostalgia” and a French edition featuring the number-one single “Fever.” The album’s reissue, “The Moonlight Edition,” was released on February 11, 2021, with the lead single “We’re Good.”
