The highly anticipated rematch between British boxing rivals Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn is expected to be confirmed for November at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This follows their thrilling middleweight clash at the same venue in April, where Eubank Jr secured a unanimous decision victory with identical 116-112 scorecards from all three judges.

Though no title was at stake, the bout captured widespread attention as it echoed the legendary rivalry between their fathers, Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn, who famously fought 35 years earlier. Fans and promoters quickly called for a rematch after the closely contested fight.

Initially, a second fight was scheduled for 20 September. However, concerns over Eubank Jr’s readiness led to the bout being postponed. Team Benn even described the September rematch as “dead” by mid-July, raising doubts about the fight’s future.

Surprisingly, the rematch is now officially back on the calendar for 15 November, an announcement driven by Ring Magazine owner Turki Alalshikh, who has played a pivotal role in organising the event. Eddie Hearn, Benn’s promoter and chairman of Matchroom Boxing, also confirmed the date on Instagram.
