Haas

MoneyGram Haas made an impressive statement by unveiling their VF-24 car design and livery, marking them as the trailblazers of the 2024 Formula 1 season. The historic moment took place at the renowned Silverstone Circuit on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, setting the stage for what promises to be an exhilarating year of racing ahead.

Tested by the likes of Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen, with their wealth of expertise and precision driving skills, they will meticulously assess every aspect of the car’s performance during the shakedown process. Their feedback and insights play a crucial role in refining the car’s setup, maximizing its potential for competitiveness on the track. This thorough testing regimen ensures that the VF-24 is primed and ready to tackle the challenges awaiting them in Bahrain and throughout the demanding season ahead.

I’m looking forward to seeing the VF-24 running and racing – a sentiment I know I share with our partners and indeed the entire team

Williams

Launched in New York, Williams’ stunning new blue livery will take to the track for a 200km filming day in Bahrain. Alongside their new reveal, Williams Formula One Racing team had announced the renewal of their partnership with Komatsu, reigniting a collaboration that spanned the 1980s and ’90s. During this period, Komatsu provided gearbox components to Williams, contributing to the success of their title-winning cars in 1996 and 1997.

Set to be tested by Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant on the turf of the Bahrain track on Wednesday, February 21st, they will determine how the Komatsu gearbox will impact their performances for the season ahead.

We’ll continue to strengthen the team both on and off the track through improvements to our infrastructure, investing in our people, and attracting fantastic new partners like Komatsu

Sauber

Kick Sauber has officially unveiled their 2024 challenger, the C44, amidst a grand ceremony held at London’s Guildhall. Adorned in a striking fluorescent green and black livery, the car marks the team’s transition into a new era, bidding farewell to their previous Italian title sponsor, Alfa Romeo.

Following on from the end of the partnership, they have incorporated a slew of changes, notably transitioning from push-rod to pull-rod suspension. Alongside revised sidepods, engine cover, and a new floor design, the team promises further updates in the opening rounds of the season to enhance performance.

The C44 is set to undergo its maiden track outing with a shakedown at Barcelona, followed by pre-season testing in Bahrain. As the team prepares for the season opener at the same venue, anticipation runs high for the debut of the Kick Sauber’s latest creation on the Formula 1 circuit.

The new C44 definitely feels different, both in terms of looks and of what we can expect from the car.

Alpine

Alpine has unveiled its latest Formula 1 contender, the A524, in anticipation of the upcoming 2024 season. The grand reveal took place at Enstone during a comprehensive ‘Motorsport Launch’ event, where the team also presented their World Endurance Championship effort. The A524, piloted by returning teammates Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, boasts a captivating design influenced by a collaboration with contemporary artist Felipe Pantone, featuring a predominantly black livery accented with striking blue and pink highlights.

Building on their partnership with Austrian water treatment company BWT, Alpine’s livery will prominently feature pink at eight of the season’s 24 races, continuing a tradition started in 2022 and 2023.

The A524 is scheduled for an initial shakedown on February 20th, followed by three days of testing in Bahrain from February 21st to 23rd. The season opener will take place at the same Sakhir venue a week later, marking the beginning of Alpine’s journey towards success in the 2024 Formula 1 season.

The A524 approach has been aggressive but deliberate in the fact we are creating a wider scope to add performance to the car

RB

The newly rebranded RB team has unveiled their highly anticipated 2024 challenger, the VCARB 01, at an extravagant launch event held in Las Vegas. This marks a significant transformation for the Faenza-based squad, bidding farewell to their AlphaTauri era and embracing a fresh chapter with the VCARB 01. Among the notable changes is the striking livery, departing from AlphaTauri’s dark blue and white scheme to a vibrant blue and white reminiscent of their Toro Rosso heritage.

The VCARB 01 took center stage at the glitzy Las Vegas event, attended by key figures including the team’s new CEO Peter Bayer and newly appointed Team Principal Laurent Mekies. Star drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda graced the occasion, accompanied by entertainment from renowned artists Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. Additionally, F1 Academy racer Amna Al-Qubaisi joined the lineup, adding to the excitement of the launch.

Beyond the car’s unveiling, RB is undergoing significant organizational changes under the leadership of Mekies, succeeding long-serving boss Franz Tost. The team has bolstered its technical and trackside personnel with the addition of experienced individuals like Alan Permane, Tim Goss, and Guillaume Cattelani, signaling a commitment to strengthening their operation for the upcoming campaign.

However, one aspect that remains unchanged is the driver lineup with Ricciardo and Tsunoda continuing their partnership, aiming for a more successful season after AlphaTauri’s eighth-place finish in the constructors’ standings last year. Ricciardo, in particular, seeks redemption following a challenging 2023 season marred by setbacks, including a mid-season absence from the F1 grid due to injury.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin have unveiled their highly anticipated AMR24, becoming the latest team to showcase their 2024 season contender. The special presentation unfolded at the team’s Silverstone headquarters, where prominent figures including owner Lawrence Stroll, Team Principal Mike Krack, Technical Director Dan Fallows, and drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll gathered for the highly anticipated unveiling. True to tradition, the AMR24 sports the iconic British racing green livery, carrying forward the team’s distinctive heritage.

Aston Martin enters the new season with aspirations to replicate their successful start in 2023, where a productive winter of development elevated them to Red Bull’s closest challengers. However, the challenge for 2024 lies in maintaining consistency, as the team faced setbacks in the previous season, with rival teams making significant strides while some updates fell short of expectations.

As the F1 ‘launch season’ progresses, Aston Martin positions itself to compete more frequently with top teams, including Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, and Red Bull. Their goal is to surpass their fifth-place finish in the constructors’ standings from the previous year, setting the stage for an ambitious and competitive 2024 campaign.

Ferrari

Ferrari continued the momentum of the F1 launch season with the highly anticipated debut of their latest challenger, the SF-24, unveiled through an online presentation. Following Aston Martin’s lead, the famous Italian marque showcased their new car, adorned in the iconic deep red livery synonymous with Ferrari. With hopes set on reclaiming championship glory, Ferrari aims to challenge for their first constructors’ title since 2008 and drivers’ crown since 2007.

Maintaining consistency in their driver lineup, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will continue their partnership for a fourth consecutive season in 2024. However, the spotlight has been on the impending arrival of Lewis Hamilton, who will join Ferrari next year, displacing Sainz. Despite the anticipation surrounding Hamilton’s move, Ferrari remains focused on the upcoming 24-race season and maximizing the potential of the SF-24 package.

The SF-24 will undergo initial track outings for promotional purposes before pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit from February 21st to 23rd, signaling Ferrari’s readiness to hit the ground running in the quest for success. Witness their pursuit for glory with exclusive Formula 1 VIP tickets and hospitality packages this season.

Presenting a new car to the world for the first time is always a very exciting moment for me and the drivers, even if we are all already thinking about the moment we will go head to head with our rivals on track.

McLaren

McLaren has officially unveiled their latest Formula 1 contender, the MCL38, setting the stage for the upcoming 2024 season. Following the earlier reveal of their distinctive papaya orange livery, McLaren staged a comprehensive car reveal, showcasing the MCL38 to the world. The timing of the presentation, precisely at 0838 GMT, was a nod to the car’s name, highlighting McLaren’s attention to detail and branding.

With drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri set to pilot the MCL38, McLaren aims to build on their recent performance surge. Despite a challenging start to 2023, McLaren’s mid-season upgrade package propelled them from struggling to score points to challenging for podiums. By the end of the season, they secured a commendable fourth place in the constructors’ standings, demonstrating significant progress.

The MCL38 will undergo a shakedown at Silverstone following the online presentation, providing an early glimpse of its performance on track. Mercedes

Mercedes unveiled their new F1 car for the 2024 season, the W15, marking an essential step forward in their campaign. The digital renders of the revamped W15 were shared on social media channels shortly after McLaren’s online presentation. Mercedes conducted an on-track shakedown at Silverstone, preparing for pre-season testing in Bahrain.

Lewis Hamilton’s final season with Mercedes before his move to Ferrari in 2025 adds significance to the team’s aspirations for 2024. He will be partnered with George Russell for his third consecutive season as a Silver Arrows driver.

Following a challenging 2022 season and continued struggles in 2023, Mercedes initiated a period of renewal, signaling a new direction for the team in 2024. Despite finishing second in the constructors’ championship in 2023, Mercedes acknowledges the substantial gap to world champions Red Bull and the monumental task ahead.
