Tyson Fury has confirmed a tune-up fight on July 24 in Pattaya, Thailand, where he will face veteran Mariusz Wach as he continues preparations for his long-awaited clash with Anthony Joshua later this year.

Fury, who recently returned from retirement and defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov in April, is taking the bout as part of a planned buildup after both he and Joshua agreed to interim fights before their blockbuster meeting. Joshua will also stay active, facing Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25, just a day after Fury’s contest.

Wach, a former world-title challenger who faced Wladimir Klitschko in 2012, brings significant experience despite an inconsistent run in recent years, making him a durable test for Fury ahead of a much bigger stage.

The Fury-Joshua showdown remains one of boxing’s most anticipated fights, nearly a decade in the making, with both heavyweights now only one step away from finally sharing the ring.
