Former 1D member Harry Styles is back in his chart-topping groove. His latest album, Kiss All the Time, disco-infused and occasionally daring, has debuted at No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart, selling 183,000 units in its first week — the biggest solo launch of his career. Vinyl sales alone reached 66,000, marking his strongest opening on the format, and the album now ranks as the biggest opening week for a solo male artist since Ed Sheeran’s Divide in 2017.

The album’s track “American Girls” also hit No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, giving Styles an Official Chart double — a feat last achieved by Olivia Dean in 2025. This is Styles’ third solo No. 1, following his 2017 debut and 2022’s Harry’s House, plus four chart-topping albums from his One Direction days.

Ahead of the release, Styles performed his No. 1 single “Aperture” at the BRIT Awards in Manchester and streamed a One Night Only concert on Netflix, marking his first live show on a streaming platform. With this latest success, Styles continues an 11-week streak of British artists holding the U.K. No. 1 spot, alongside Olivia Dean, Robbie Williams, Louis Tomlinson, Charli XCX, Mumford & Sons, and Gorillaz.
