Anthony Joshua’s warm-up fight

Anthony Joshua returns to the ring against Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The bout marks Joshua’s first fight since December 2025 and is designed to prepare him for the long-awaited showdown with Tyson Fury.

Prenga enters the fight with an impressive record of 20 wins, 20 knockouts and one defeat, making him a dangerous opponent despite being relatively unknown at the elite level.

AJ’s Last 5 Fights

Joshua v Paul - December 2025

Anthony Joshua returned to the ring with a dominant stoppage victory over Jake Paul, dropping him twice before ending the contest in the sixth round. The win helped rebuild momentum ahead of his planned return to heavyweight contention.

Joshua v Dubois - September 2024

AJ suffered a major setback at Wembley Stadium as Daniel Dubois stopped him in the fifth round to retain the IBF heavyweight title. Joshua struggled to find his rhythm against Dubois’ power and aggression.

Joshua v Ngannou - March 2024

A spectacular knockout saw Joshua drop former UFC champion Francis Ngannou twice before ending the fight in the second round.

Joshua v Wallin - December 2023

In a dominant display in Saudi Arabia, AJ forced Wallin’s corner to stop the contest after five rounds following a relentless performance.

Joshua v Helenius - August 2023

Returning to winning ways, Joshua stopped Robert Helenius in the seventh round with a devastating right hand to secure a statement victory.

Tyson Fury’s warm-up fight

Tyson Fury faces Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, ahead of his expected blockbuster clash with Anthony Joshua.

The former WBC heavyweight champion returned earlier this year with a victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov, but his fight against Wach is viewed as more of a confidence-building outing before the biggest fight of his career.

Fury’s last 5 fights

Fury v Makhmudov - April 2026

Returning from his defeats to Usyk, Fury put on a composed display against Makhmudov, gaining valuable rounds ahead of his potential showdown with Joshua.

Fury v Usyk - December 2024

The rematch saw Fury unable to reclaim his titles, with Usyk once again proving too sharp to secure a unanimous decision victory.

Fury v Usyk - May 2024

In one of the biggest heavyweight fights of the era, Fury suffered his first professional defeat as Usyk became undisputed champion with a narrow split decision win.

Fury v Ngannou - October 2023

Fury survived a huge scare against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, earning a controversial split decision victory after being knocked down during a closely contested bout.
