#5: New England Patriots 45 - 7 St Louis Rams
The New England Patriots delivered a dominant performance at Wembley Stadium, overwhelming the St. Louis Rams 45-7 in one of the most lopsided games in NFL London history. Despite the Rams striking first with a 50-yard touchdown, Tom Brady and the Patriots responded immediately and never looked back. With Rob Gronkowski and Brandon Lloyd each scoring twice, and rushing touchdowns from Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen, New England racked up 21 unanswered points in the second quarter alone. Backed by a largely pro-Patriots crowd of over 84,000, Brady finished with 304 yards, four touchdowns, and a near-perfect passer rating before exiting in the fourth quarter with the game well in hand.

#4: Minnesota Vikings 34 - 27 Pittsburgh Steelers
The Minnesota Vikings secured a dramatic 34-27 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in a high-stakes clash at Wembley Stadium, witnessed by over 83,000 fans. In a back-and-forth contest, the Vikings raced to an early lead with standout touchdowns from Greg Jennings and a stunning 60-yard run from Adrian Peterson. The Steelers responded with Le’Veon Bell and Jerricho Cotchery finding the end zone, cutting the deficit to just seven points in the final minutes. With Pittsburgh driving toward a potential game-tying score, Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen came up with a game-saving strip-sack on Ben Roethlisberger inside the red zone, sealing Minnesota’s first win of the season in unforgettable fashion.

#3: Carolina Panthers 37 - 26 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Carolina Panthers cruised to a commanding 37-26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their first-ever London appearance. Despite a strong 400-yard passing performance, Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston endured a nightmare outing with five interceptions, two fumbles, and six total turnovers under relentless pressure from Carolina’s defense. Christian McCaffrey continued his MVP-calibre season with two touchdowns, while Curtis Samuel added two more as the Panthers capitalised on Tampa Bay’s mistakes. The Panthers surged ahead 34-10 early in the fourth quarter, and although the Bucs rallied with late touchdowns and two-point conversions, Winston’s final two interceptions sealed the defeat in front of a packed London crowd.
#2: Jacksonville Jaguars 34 - 31 Buffalo Bills
In 2015, the Jaguars delivered their signature London moment at their adopted second home. The game was a wild rollercoaster, punctuated by a stunning 28-0 run from the Bills, capped off by Corey Graham’s 44-yard pick-six to give Buffalo a 31-27 lead with just over five minutes to go. But Jacksonville refused to back down, and the drama peaked when Allen Hurns made a spectacular diving 31-yard touchdown grab to seal a thrilling 34-31 victory. With a combined 65 points, this showdown stands as the second-highest scoring game in NFL London history—only topped by the 69-point clash between the Saints and Chargers in 2008. Given the Jaguars’ commitment to the International Series, it’s fitting that this electrifying comeback is remembered as one of the greatest London games ever.

#1: New Orleans Saints 37 - 32 San Diego Chargers
The New Orleans Saints edged out the San Diego Chargers in a thrilling 37-32 shootout at Wembley Stadium, marking a memorable second International Series clash in front of 83,226 fans. Quarterback Drew Brees starred against his former team with three touchdown passes, leading the Saints to a 4-4 season record despite the absence of Reggie Bush. San Diego fought back from a 17-point deficit in a frantic finish, with Philip Rivers throwing three touchdowns and nearly snatching victory in the dying seconds. A late Saints safety sealed the result, while the Chargers were left to rue 14 costly penalties that ultimately undermined their comeback hopes.
