Ipswich Town secured promotion to the Premier League after a dominant 3–0 win over Queens Park Rangers at Portman Road in their final home fixture of the Championship season. The victory capped off a strong campaign and confirmed an immediate return to the top flight following their previous relegation, with the team finishing the job in style in front of a jubilant home crowd.

The hosts started brightly and quickly took control of the match, creating early chances before breaking the deadlock through George Hirst. Ipswich continued to press and doubled their advantage soon after when Jaden Philogene finished a flowing move to put them firmly in control.

QPR struggled to respond against an energetic Ipswich side, who maintained their intensity throughout the game. The home team sealed the result late on when Kasey McAteer scored the third goal, sparking celebrations as promotion was confirmed regardless of other results elsewhere.

The win marked a successful first season back in the Championship for Kieran McKenna’s side, who have now secured a return to the Premier League after a consistent and hard-fought campaign.
