Miley Cyrus Releases Tenth Album 'Bass Persuades'
Pop sensation Miley Cyrus has released her 10th album, Bass Persuades, just over a year after Something Beautiful.
Released under the mononym Miley, the record takes a darker, bass-heavy approach, with the title track featuring moody pulses, ‘80s-inspired synths and Cyrus’ distinctive vocals.
Tracks including Different Religion, featuring Model/Actriz, explore industrial sounds, while Aftermath delivers synth-pop energy and Innocent Ways offers a more personal moment centred on her relationship with her sister.
Ballads Orbit and Snow showcase Cyrus’ vocals, while Let’s Get Married provides a more romantic change of pace.
While the album has been described as less cohesive than Something Beautiful, it still offers plenty of experimentation and flashes of creativity.
Cyrus will celebrate the new era with two Hollywood Bowl shows in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18, 2026 – Could she announce a UK tour potentially after?
