The Jacksonville Jaguars wrapped up their London stint with a dominant 32-16 win over the New England Patriots, providing head coach Doug Pederson with much-needed breathing room amid mounting pressure. The game started slowly for the Jaguars, as the Patriots quickly established an early 10-0 lead, fueled by the poise of rookie quarterback Drake Maye, who showcased his potential with a confident opening drive.

However, the Jaguars shifted into gear in the second quarter, with Trevor Lawrence leading two impressive touchdown drives that ignited the team’s offense. The momentum swung dramatically when Jamal Agnew returned a punt for a record-breaking 96 yards for a touchdown, marking the Jaguars’ first punt return TD in four years and scoring 22 unanswered points in a single quarter.

In the second half, Jacksonville’s defense stifled the Patriots, thwarting their offensive attempts and allowing only one late touchdown. Despite New England’s efforts to close the gap, a failed two-point conversion left them trailing. The Jaguars put the finishing touches on their victory with another touchdown in the final moments of the game, solidifying their comfortable win.

This matchup not only showcased the Jaguars’ resilience and talent but also marked the conclusion of the NFL’s London series for 2024, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what’s in store for the next season.
