#3: Sticky Fingers (1971)
“Sticky Fingers,” The Rolling Stones’ first album without Brian Jones, became a defining moment in their career. The original cover, designed by Andy Warhol’s art collective, featured a man in tight jeans with a working zipper, which led to production issues that were later adjusted. Despite this, the album is considered one of the Stones’ best, topping both UK and US charts and achieving triple platinum status in the US. Featuring hits like “Brown Sugar,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1971, it was also named the second-best album of the year by The Village Voice’s Pazz & Jop critics poll. “Sticky Fingers” has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and ranked among Rolling Stone’s “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

#1: Exile on Main St. (1972)
“Exile on Main St.,” the Rolling Stones’ 10th UK and 12th US album, is often seen as the peak of their most critically acclaimed period, following “Beggars Banquet,” “Let It Bleed,” and “Sticky Fingers.” Known for its raw, murky sound and the chaotic, party-like atmosphere of its production, “Exile on Main St.” is widely regarded as the band’s greatest work and one of the best albums ever made. Rolling Stone magazine ranked it the highest among the Stones’ albums on its “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list. Inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2012, the album was remastered and re-released in 2010 with a bonus disc, charting again at number one in the UK and number two in the US.
