Wimbledon Journey Planner: Public Transport
We strongly recommend all visitors and Wimbledon hospitality guests use public transport to reach the Wimbledon Championships.
By London Underground
The nearest Tube stations to the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Southfields or Wimbeldon. Southfields is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus journey (493 bus towards St. George’s Hospital) and Wimbledon Tube station is a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute bus journey (493 bus towards Richmond).
By Train
Trains from London Waterloo operate a regular service to Wimbledon station, in addition to trains from Southampton, Winchester, Havant, Portsmouth, Poole, Basingstoke, Salisbury, Exeter and Andover. Upon arrival at Wimbledon station, there is a London general shuttle bus service which takes visitors directly to the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

By Bus
During The Championships the London General shuttle bus will be in operation between Wimbledon station and the grounds all day until late in the evening.
London buses do not accept cash payments – visitors should ensure they have a Travel Card, Oyster Card or contactless payment method to travel by bus.

By Tram
Visitors can reach Wimbledon station by tram from East Croydon station, which run every 5 minutes Mon – Sat, or every 7/8 minutes on Sundays and early mornings/evenings.

If driving to The Wimbledon Championships, please use the postcode SW19 5AQ in your Satellite Navigation system.
There is a no stopping or parking policy in operation on any of the roads around the All England Lawn Tennis Club during The Championships.
Visitors arriving by car will need to book into one of the designated Wimbledon car parks for between £15 – £50 depending on your vehicle type and car park location.

Taxis will be in operation at Southfields Tube station and Wimbledon station from the designated taxi ranks.
